I am currently 32 years old. I have beautiful wife - Erica. We have been married for 10 years now.
We have three dogs and a cat...AND, we welcomed our first baby July 2024!!
We enjoy to hike, camp, travel, and would never pass up a beach day!! (Folly Beach is our favorite!)
I have worked various jobs like most have, but most of my professional career was in the automotive industry.
I started out as a lube-tech for Toyota. Moved into private shop after several years to work as technician.
Having enjoyed general repair, I yearned for something more. An opportunity came about to work for 4 Wheel Parts.
Also known as 4WP, they specialize in offroad and after market accessories for Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs.
I fell in love with going offroading and bulding peoples dreams to do the same.
I had a 95 YJ that I built and ran the Rubicon trail in CA/NV. The Rubicon Trail is for sure one of my favorites!
After working in the Auto Tech industry for 10 years, I had a shift to pursue my interest in tech.
It didn't take long to get my very first course certificate from Coursera which landed me into a Help Desk role at Sutter Health.
My first job lasted 3 months due to being a contract position. Shortly after I secured another similair role with Golden One Credit Union.
This role lasted 15 months before I was promoted to Desktop Support. This was a hybryid role in which you were a bit more hands on.
I enjoyed the team and workflow. This was interupted when Erica and I felt called to move to South Carolina. We took the leap of faith.
Bought what we call a dream home out here in the country and I secured a postion with Amazon's Fullfilment Center.
I had started learned Azure while at Golden One as we were a Microsoft based company and I had a mentor SysAdmin to guide me.
When I learned Amazon provided free resources to learn AWS I had to jump on that! So far I hold two AWS certifications and will continue to pursue more.
Currenlty studying Linux Ubuntu, Python, and while creating this website - HTML.
